West Meade is the wooded stretch west of Green Hills, off Harding Pike and up into the hills around Hillwood and Vaughn's Gap. A lot of it went up in the 1950s and '60s, so you get long, low ranch homes set back on big lots under old hardwoods. Those trees are part of why we stay busy out here. They drop leaves and pollen all over the yard, it rides inside on shoes and paws, and it settles right into the carpet in the rooms nearest the doors.
Homes like these usually have carpet laid over the original hardwood, and the last thing you want is a cleaning that soaks through and leaves moisture sitting against that old wood. We don't steam clean. Our process is low-moisture and soap-free, so the fibers get worked clean without the pad ever getting saturated. The carpet is dry to the touch in about an hour, and because there's no detergent left behind, dirt doesn't rush back to the same worn paths a week later.
